Appliances built after 1995 must have a CE certification. Always disconnect the power supply before changing appliances, changing work pieces, carrying out maintenance work and when not in use. Before commencing work, check that tools and appliances are working correctly. Never work with damaged or blunt tools. Before commencing work, check that the equipment is mounted correctly (e.g. screwed joints). Firmly clamp the work piece in position. Ensure that you and the appliances used always have a firm footing. When using tools and appliances, adhere to the Min./Max. rotational speed and the rotation directions stipulated on the products, packaging or in the instruction manual. Only use the tools for their intended purpose. Never remove existing fitted protective devices. Ensure that your clothes (especially sleeves) are close to your body and protect your hair. Protect your ears when carrying out work which produces a high level of noise. Wear safety goggles and mouth and nose protection when carrying out work which produces dust, shavings, fumes or sparks. Never reach into the equipment when it is in operation. Ensure that all electrical appliances are protected against damp, dust and humidity. Keep children away from your workshop and keep all equipment and tools in a safe place. Never allow inexperienced persons to work with your equipment and tools without instruction or supervision.
